DOCKS

We have been manufacturing docks in Northern Michigan for over 15 years. Our dock systems are designed to last a lifetime. MI Dock offers a wide variety of applications including boat docks, work platforms, catwalks, gangways, mobile steps, handicap ramps and walkways. MI Dock is the perfect system for any inland lake or one of Michigan’s Great Lakes. The MI Dock systems allow for custom design layouts with easy set up and assembly. If you prefer a different dock layout, each season the system can be installed in multiple configurations.

ENGINEERING & DESIGN

Our engineering and design department offers innovative solutions for prototyping, fixturing and manufacturing. We partner with our clients using Solidworks 2021 from developing the fundamentals of an idea, to designing a prototype and fabricating a final proof of concept. We offer a finished quality product with excellence in customer service.

FABRICATION

Our fabrication services are undisputed in our area as a leader in engineering, quality and product accuracy. Our fabrication shop is equipped with Multi-Cam 3000 High Definition Plasma, Pacific 12’ 175 ton Press Brake, Wysong 10 Ft. x 10 Ga. Power Squaring Shear, Pacific 8’ 55 ton Press Brake, Bridgeport Mills incl. digital read-out, Hardinge Turret and Clausing Engine Lathes, Miller MIG and TIG Welding Equipment, Diacro Tubing Bender, and ProMaCo Roll Bender.

LASER & PLASMA CUTTING

With our Primo Plantino 3000 watt laser we have versatile capabilities with a wide range of metal materials and thickness. The laser has excellent cutting performance with sheet metal, bar stock, angle and tubing. The laser allows all projects and products to sustain concept accuracy through productivity.

POWDERCOATING

We offer an endless amount of color options as well as finishes. There are glossy, semi-glossy, shimmer, smooth, textured, and matte finishes available. TriMet Industries is a leader in powdercoating services. Our experience offers a lifetime of finished products without cracks and peeling.

WELDING

For the applications that require manual welding, our experienced welders are available for both TIG and MIG welding. TriMet is able to
meet the need from the smallest component to large projects.

Along with working from provided prints and designs, we also work with customers on prototyping and designing new solutions from the ground up.
